1.Calcium Aluminate Clinker is produced by burning the raw materials of high grade crude aluminous bauxite and limestone in rotary kiln. It is mainly used in refining ladle to remove the sulfide impurities from steel liquid and keeping good fluidity of slag. After grinded into cement, it turns to refractory cement, also named high alumina cement and is used as the bonding agent of refractory concrete.
2. Calcium Aluminate is fues in are furnace under high temperature from mixture of bauxite and other materials. There are many uses for calcium aluminate as an industrial mineral. But to steel industry its most important use may be for synthetic slag applications primarily in ladle metallurgy operations such as sulpuer and inclusion removal in steel, consistent slag chemistry. And the sulpuer removal rate can be up to 30%.
